The City Clerk’s Office is the official record keeper for the City and is responsible for maintaining all City records. In addition, the Clerk’s Office prepares, maintains, and files all City records, ordinances, resolutions, and official documents.
Economic Development
The Fairview Heights, Illinois Economic Development Department has 3 primary goals:
1. Retain existing businesses within the City and advocate or assist in the expansion of those existing businesses.
2. Recruit new business start-ups and solicit companies to locate in the City.
3. Spearhead certain projects that will complement the City's Economic Development efforts.
Finance Department
The Finance Department is responsible for the financial management and integrity of the finance system in the administration, development, and monitoring of the cities operating and capital budgets. The Finance Department assists the public and citizen groups with information requests, and makes recommendations to the City Administrator, Mayor, and City Council on financial and budgetary policies.
